DOLLS AND TOYS A handmade doll is a magical gift to a young child, one that will nurture them throughout their childhood and will often become a much-loved family heirloom. The doll is the child's alter ego, through which he or she can express his/her deepest feelings; features are deliberately kept simple to allow the child to endow it with its own personality and mood.
